Our Mission
In March 2025, Sharon and Richard began Abigail David Productions with a focus on creating quality faith-based films in Queensland that will have an impact around the world by sharing the love of Jesus.
In that first year, they wrote the screenplay for Light in the Darkness, which follows the emotional journey of Cassie and her 14-year-old son, Josh. In 2026, they have been focused on gathering a team of creatives together to shoot this film in 2027 alongside developing other stories they want to bring to a worldwide audience.
They currently have five projects on their slate: two documentaries; a based on a true story Australian drama set between the 1930s and 1960s focused on the theme of God’s Grace; a biblical drama that begins in the gospels and continues through the book of Acts; and Light in the Darkness.
